President Trump used the powers of the office of President of the United States of America to extort a foreign country to manufacture dirt on one of Trump’s domestic political rivals.
A partial transcript of a call between Trump and the President of Ukraine shows the latter asking for military aid to defend his country against Russian aggression and Trump immediately responding, “I would like you to do us a favor, though.” Nice little country you’ve got there, sure would be a shame if anything happened to it.
How did Congressman Riggleman respond to that blatant act of corruption? He said, “Just as the Mueller investigation demonstrated there was no collusion or obstruction by President Trump, the release of the transcript confirmed that President Trump did not engage in any illegal or unethical behavior during his phone conversation with Zelensky.”
That is four lies in one sentence.
Come to Congressman Riggleman’s office in Charlottesville this Thursday at noon and remind him that he swore an oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” not to protect the most corrupt and lawless President in American history.
We will sign the visitor’s log, fill out a comment sheet, and politely let the office staff know that we expect the Congressman to uphold the law and the Constitution.
